New Bar in New York: Dutch Kills
As Cihan Anadoglu reported over at the Bartender's Laboratory a new bar will be opening in New York soon. "Dutch Kills" (the name refers to the Dutch roots of a New York district) will welcome its first customers in the begining of April and is a project by Milk & Honey entrepreneurs Richard Boccato and Sasha Petraske. About Bar Tours Berlin
We organized Bar Tours Berlin for the first time last year to accompany our trade event Bar Convent Berlin. As the response to this was very enthusiastic, we've decided, together with the participating cocktail bars, to make this event even bigger this year. While the Bar Convent is for trade visitors only, the Bar Tours are for literally everyone: the Berlin public, the visiting bartenders from abroad, the tourists....etc.

The 20 Best Cocktail Bars in the USA according to GQ Magazine
The American edition of GQ Magazine has published a list of the 20 best cocktail bars in the United States. Camper English of Alcademics offers to add more consistency to the concept though.

Australian Bartender Magazine's 20 Best Bars in the World
David Spanton from the Australian Bartender magazine recently asked me to join their jury in the quest for the top 20 bars in the world. Now we got the results. The two Milk & Honeys still seem to have the biggest fan club among the bar experts. They took first and second. GSA bars didn't do bad at all. Widder Bar from Zurich got an honourable mention and Le Lion from Hamburg in its first year already scored fifth. This is the complete list of the results:
